A delicious taco pizza recipe featuring refried beans, cheese, and fresh toppings.

- 16 oz. refried beans (store-bought or homemade, black or pinto both work)
- 1 oz. taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
- 8 oz. taco sauce (store-bought or homemade, divided)
- 16 oz. pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, room temperature)
- 3 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend (Colby jack cheese, or mild cheddar cheese also work)
- ½ cup halved cherry tomatoes
- ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
- ¼ cup sliced olives
- optional sliced green onions (for topping)
- optional fresh cilantro (for topping)
- optional sour cream (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix the refried beans, taco seasoning, and half of the taco sauce together.
- On a floured surface, stretch and roll the dough into a 12-inch circle.
- Spread the refried beans evenly over the dough.
- Drizzle on the remaining taco sauce.
- Top with ¾ of the cheese, tomatoes, bell pepper, and olives. Sprinkle on the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is brown.
- Top with dollops of sour cream, green onions, and cilantro if desired. Slice and serve.
Notes
- This recipe can be easily customized with your favorite toppings.
- For a spicier kick, consider adding jalapeños or hot sauce.
