Description

A delicious and comforting creamy chicken noodle casserole, perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions; drain.
  3. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, vegetables, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold in the cooked egg noodles and half the cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  6. In a small bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter, then sprinkle over the casserole.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
