Description

These prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella bites are perfect for a party or a quick snack!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 16 bite-sized cubes
  • 8 slices prosciutto, halved lengthwise
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped (optional for garnish)
  • Toothpicks, for securing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut mozzarella cheese into 16 bite-sized cubes if not using pre-cut cheese.
  3. Wrap each mozzarella cube with a half slice of prosciutto and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Arrange the wrapped bites on the prepared baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian herbs and freshly ground black pepper.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crispy and mozzarella just begins to melt.
  6. Remove from oven, transfer to a serving platter, and garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve warm.
