Delicious breakfast sausage balls that are perfect for a quick breakfast or snack!
Ingredients

- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 2 cups pancake mix
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Add the breakfast sausage, pancake mix, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, maple syrup, egg, and black pepper to a large mixing bowl.
- Mix everything together until fully combined and the mixture is thick but easy to scoop.
- Roll the mixture into evenly sized balls, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches each.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet with a little space between them.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving warm with maple syrup if desired.
Notes
- These sausage balls can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- They also freeze well; just reheat them in the oven when ready to serve.
