Description
Delicious doughy cookie bars made with tahini and chocolate chips.
Ingredients

- 1 cup salted butter, at room temperature
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2/3 cup tahini
- 2 eggs, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips, or chunks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° F. Line a baking 9×13 inch dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, honey, and tahini until combined.
- Beat in the eggs, 1 at a time.
- Add the vanilla, beating until creamy.
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir in the chocolate chips/chunks.
- Spread the dough out into the prepared dish.
- Bake for 16-20 minutes for a doughy cookie bar; they will continue to cook slightly.
- The longer you bake, the more set the cookies will be.
- Let cool for 30 minutes or so, then cut into bars.
- Eat and enjoy, or let cool and store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Notes
- For a softer cookie bar, err on the side of underbaking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
