Description
Delicious and fun Pepperoni Pizza Roses made with dough, cheese, and pepperoni.
Ingredients

- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 20 slices pepperoni
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- fresh basil leaves optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin pan.
- Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut dough into 12 strips approximately 1 inches wide and 8 inches long.
- On each strip, lay two pepperoni slices end to end and sprinkle with a mix of mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Starting at one end of the strip, gently roll up into a rose shape and place in a muffin cup.
- Brush each rose with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and salt.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until dough is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then remove from pan and serve with marinara sauce and basil.
