Description
Deliciously crispy boneless chicken thighs coated in a creamy and spicy bang bang sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional garnish)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: Start by patting the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken thighs.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the chicken thighs in the pan and cook for about 6–7 minutes on each side. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce: While the chicken cooks, make the sauce. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey. The sauce should be smooth, creamy, and lightly orange in color.
- Coat the Chicken: Once the Bang Bang Chicken Thighs are fully cooked, remove them from the skillet. Drizzle the sauce generously over the chicken or toss the thighs gently in the sauce for full coverage.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top. Serve immediately while the chicken is hot and juicy.
Notes
- Patting the chicken thighs dry is essential for achieving a crispy exterior.
