Ingredients

- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 package ready-to-roll fondant
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; stir in vanilla.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture until just mixed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Once cooled, roll out fondant on a powdered sugar-dusted surface and cut shapes to decorate cookies.
