- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken:
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. - Cook Chicken:
Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and just cooked through. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside. - Make Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add honey and soy sauce. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer. - Thicken Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
Add the slurry to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens. - Combine:
Return the chicken to the skillet. Toss the chicken in the sauce until evenly coated and heated through. - Garnish and Serve:
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
Serve hot.
