Description

A delicious slow-cooked beef brisket with BBQ sauce that is perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 34 lb beef brisket
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Chives or parsley

Instructions

  1. Mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, and brown sugar, then rub onto brisket.
  2. Whisk BBQ sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar together.
  3. Place onions in slow cooker and set brisket on top.
  4. Pour sauce over brisket ensuring full coverage.
  5. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or high for 5 to 6 hours.
  6. Remove brisket, rest for 10 minutes, then slice.
  7. Simmer leftover sauce for 5 to 7 minutes and pour over brisket.

Notes

  • For best flavor, let the brisket marinate in the spice rub overnight.
