A delicious and hearty stack of grilled tomatoes, beef patties, and rice.
Ingredients

- 2 large tomatoes, sliced thickly
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- to taste salt and pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- to garnish Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef: In a bowl, mix ground beef with minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Form the beef mixture into patties slightly larger than the tomato slices.
- Cook the Rice: If not already cooked, prepare rice according to package instructions and let it cool slightly. Mix the cooked rice with a tablespoon of butter and a pinch of salt.
- Grill the Tomatoes: Heat a grill pan over medium heat and lightly grease with olive oil. Grill the tomato slices for about 2 minutes on each side until grill marks appear.
- Cook the Beef Patties: In the same pan, cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on your preferred doneness. Let them rest for a few minutes.
- Assemble the Stack: On a serving plate, place a grilled tomato slice. Add a spoonful of rice on top of the tomato. Place a beef patty over the rice. Repeat the layers, ending with a tomato slice on top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the beef overnight with spices of your choice.
- Adjust the thickness of tomato slices according to preference.
- Serve with a side of salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
