- Prepare the Blondie Batter: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, beating well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Create the Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Pour half of the blondie batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture over the batter. Spoon the remaining batter on top and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon mixture. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon into the batter gently.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Prepare the Frosting: In a medium bowl, beat softened butter and cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla, beating until smooth and fluffy.
- Assemble: Once the blondies are cool, spread the frosting evenly over the top. Optionally, dust with additional cinnamon for decoration.
