A delicious and indulgent chocolate strawberry trifle perfect for celebrations or gatherings.

- 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients required by the box)
- 2 cups milk
- 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- about 2 cups whipped cream or topping
- chocolate sprinkles for decoration
- chocolate ganache (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- Follow the instructions on the cake mix box to bake the chocolate cake. Allow it to cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut the cake into small cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mix with milk. Whisk until smooth and thickened. Set aside.
- In a large glass trifle bowl, start by layering half of the chocolate cake cubes.
- Pour half of the chocolate pudding over the cake layer, spreading it evenly.
- Add a layer of sliced strawberries on top of the pudding.
- Add half of the whipped cream on top of the strawberries.
- Repeat these layers: add the remaining chocolate cake cubes, followed by the rest of the pudding, another layer of strawberries, and finally the remaining whipped cream.
- Arrange halved strawberries along the edge of the top layer.
- Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles in the center.
- Optionally, drizzle chocolate ganache on top for extra richness.

- For extra flavor, consider soaking the cake cubes in a bit of coffee or chocolate liqueur before layering.
- You can prepare this dessert a day in advance; it allows flavors to meld beautifully.
